Advisability of Additional Regulation of Passing of Risk in Georgian Law

The present article studies the assessment of the rules on passing the risk in the Georgian Civil Code on the example of a sales contract; It also offers different interpretations of the regulations on risk transfer institute based on Vienna Convention of International Sale of Goods. It aims at facilitation of better regulation of subject matter and the development of homogenous court practice in this direction; Material demonstrates proper methods of interpretation of relevant norms and reasonableness of additional regulation.
