Sophie Chachava

Professor in Private Law

Ms. Sophie Chachava was awarded a Ph.D. degree (2010) and Master's Degree in European Law (2002) from Tbilisi State University. She is co-director of the NVU Center for Leadership and Effective Communications and since 2011 also an academic director of the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution – NCADR at the TSU. Ms. Chachava also served as the expert-lawyer for the European Union project of “Civil and Administrative Reforms in Georgia” (2007), as the legal reform project lawyer for the German Technical Cooperation Society (2002-2005) and as Robert Bosch Foundation lecturer (Stuttgart, Germany, 2002-2004).
