The PhD in Business Administration aims to support the individual's free development and broaden their perspective in the field of business administration by developing the competencies required for high-quality research and teaching. The program prepares future leaders in the discipline who demonstrate critical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to generate and disseminate innovative knowledge.

The program integrates both teaching and research components. The coursework equips doctoral candidates with contemporary research methodologies and advanced theories in business administration, while the research component focuses on conducting independent scientific research and producing an original doctoral dissertation.

Throughout the program, students will:

• A research Master's degree or an equivalent qualification, as well as a Master's degree or an equivalent academic qualification awarded upon completion of a Master's educational program comprising at least 120 credits (completed as a whole or in parts), or an equivalent program, as determined by the Minister, in any field of study
• Personal statement — outline of the research idea
• English language proficiency at B2 level (providing relevant certificate or passing university exam)
• If selected as a finalist, an interview with an admission commission

Candidates who have received an academic degree in English at the bachelor's or master's level are exempted from taking the English language test.

The PhD Program in Education aims to foster the free development of individuals and generate innovative knowledge by creating a platform for socially responsive, primarily interdisciplinary research in the field of education. The program achieves this by advancing existing knowledge and equipping doctoral candidates with contemporary research methods and innovative research tools.

The Doctoral Program in Education is aligned with the University's mission to broaden individuals' vision through education, research, and innovation, and promoting the sharing of knowledge and values to build a better future.

The program is founded based on the vision that education is both a transformative and interdisciplinary force. It provides doctoral candidates with the opportunity to synthesize systematic knowledge in educational sciences with expertise gained through prior academic and professional experience. By applying innovative research approaches, students contribute to the advancement of the field, introduce new perspectives, and expand the existing body of knowledge.

Program Pillars:

The doctoral program consists of a teaching component (60 ECTS credits) and a research component. Depending on the doctoral candidate's individual academic background and needs, the coursework component is completed over 2–4 semesters.

Within the framework of the program, doctoral candidates are provided with:

• Applicants must hold a research master's degree or an equivalent qualification, or a master's academic degree (or an equivalent academic qualification) awarded upon successful completion of a master's educational programme comprising at least 120 ECTS credits (completed either as an integrated programme or accumulated in parts), as defined by the Minister. The degree must be obtained in Education, Social Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Law, or another relevant field that provides the knowledge and competencies necessary to undertake interdisciplinary research within the cohort
• 3 years' working experience in education and/or research or publication in the field of education; and/or participation in scientific-research projects and conferences in the field of education
• Submission of research outline/proposal
• English-language proficiency at C1 level, proven by university exam or provision of certificate — Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): in the case of an internet-based test (iBT) — at least 95 points; Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) — at least C1 level; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) — at least 7.0 points. The certificates with set lifespan should be obtained within 3 years period
• Applicants whose native language is English, or whose competence is evidenced by a degree awarded after taking an English language programme, or at least two years of study in a country where English is both the native language and the language of instruction/examination, are exempted from the obligation to present documentation of English language proficiency

Additional information on the admission process. Admission to the program is competitive, carried out by the admission committee. The initial evaluation of the candidate is carried out by the committee, based on the research proposal. Evaluation criteria of the research proposal are publicly available together with the announcement of the intake.

Based on evaluation, selected applicants participate in the interview with the admission committee, which envisages presentation of the candidate about the research proposal. The interview and presentation are assessed by the committee. Applicants are enrolled based on the results of evaluation by the admission committee.

Potential supervisors/co-supervisors of the cohort intake and their research profiles are known to the applicants together with the announcement for the intake. The applicant chooses a supervisor/co-supervisor and is required to obtain the consent of the supervisor and submit it together with the research proposal. The School of Education supports the applicant, if needed.

Doctoral admissions are conducted annually according to a predefined cohort structure. For each admission cycle, a broad research theme is selected, which promotes close collaboration among doctoral candidates, enables the effective mobilization of resources, and supports the implementation of high-quality research aligned with priority areas.

The theme of the 2026–2027 academic year cohort is "Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)". Submitted doctoral research proposals must align with the overarching cohort theme.Please refer to the description of the cohort's research theme.

The Doctoral Program in Law aims to prepare independent researchers, academic professionals, and highly qualified specialists in the field of law who are capable of critically analyzing legal issues, generating new knowledge, and actively contributing to the development of legal science and practice.

The program promotes the development of doctoral candidates' research, analytical, and academic skills, provides in-depth study of contemporary legal theories and research methodologies, and prepares graduates for successful engagement in the international academic environment.

To support the advancement of innovative legal research, the program places particular emphasis on independent scientific inquiry, adherence to academic ethics, and the preparation of scholarly works that meet international academic standards.

The program includes teaching and research modules. The coursework component prepares doctoral candidates in contemporary research methodologies and teaching methods, while the research component is fully focused on conducting independent scientific research and preparing a doctoral dissertation.

Within the framework of the program, doctoral candidates:

The program is based on research-oriented learning, enabling doctoral candidates to actively engage in scientific research throughout their studies and produce research work of high academic value (view program details).

• A Research Master's degree in Law or an equivalent qualification, as well as a Master's degree in Law or an equivalent academic qualification awarded upon completion of a Master's educational program comprising at least 120 credits (completed as a whole or in parts) or an equivalent program
• The candidate's experience and capabilities are taken into account. To be admitted to the program, the candidate is required to have previous work/publication in the relevant field, and/or experience in participating in scientific-research project(s) and events (in the legal field), which is confirmed by the applicant's resume and relevant Annexes
• A brief description of the PhD research idea (evaluated by the admissions committee) and a motivation letter (goals of PhD education, study in the PhD program in Law, career aspirations, etc.)
• Knowledge of English at level B2, which is confirmed by an appropriate certificate or university exam
• Interview with the admissions committee (includes an interview and an interview/presentation on the research topic to the admissions committee)
• The PhD student also selects a preferred supervisor/co-supervisor from New Vision University School of Law based on his/her research interests. The PhD student is supported by the School of Law in the process of selecting a supervisor and obtaining his/her approval
