
Global Politics Winter School
The School of Politics and Diplomacy at New Vision University and the Institute for Policy Research and European Studies (IPRES) announce the opening of admissions to the Global Politics Winter School titled โNavigating Uncertainty: Great Power Politics and Contemporary Challenges in the International System.โ
Through critical discussion and analytical approaches, the program aims to support participants in assessing and better understanding recent global developments and the dynamics of world politics.
Throughout the three-day program, emphasis will be placed on the roles of the United States, the European Union, and small states, including Georgia, in the international system. Students will have the opportunity to explore the various strategies and challenges faced by both major powers and states with limited influence.
Key Topics Include:
- The return of great power politics in international relations;
- NATO and transatlantic security;
- The new foreign and security policy of the United States;
- If the European Union can become a significant global actor;
- Russia as a regional and global actor;
- Foreign policy of small states โ the case of Georgia;
- The South Caucasus in great power politics.
Global Politics Winter School will be held on February 25โ27, 2026, at New Vision University Eco Campus.

Eligibility:
Bachelorโs students in social sciences and related fields (priority will be given to third- and fourth-year students).
